Just learned that Fred Meyer has made a $1500 contribution to CASA in gift cards for replacement of toys and gifts lost in the fire. Thanks Fred Meyer!
Salon Verve will ultimately relocate to 1180 Commercial Street, where Salon Boheme was located before they moved to Marine Drive. In the meantime, they are setting up shop temporarily as follows:
165 West Bond (Sari (503-791-0968) and Betsy (503-791-9855), day after Christmas); Exclusive Salon (Denise (503-440-2506), immediately); Shear Expressions (Mindy (503-717-0469), immediately)
Daryl Birney, psychologist, has been provided a fully furnished office on a temporary basis at BSM Engineering, 801 Commercial. He will begin seeing clients Monday morning. YEAH!!!
Clatsop CASA received the help of many to replace gifts and toys for a foster children’s party. Too numerous to list, but Fred Meyer, TLC Federal Credit Union, DHS-Child Welfare and many CASA volunteers and friends were immediate and generous responders. Also, thanks to the Commodore Hotel for quickly posting info about our loss. We will have plenty of gifts for all the kids at the party on Tuesday. The CASA Board and staff are very touched by all the support. Now on to starting over …

Open Door (displaced by fire) has temporary operations set up at the Women’s Resource Center. Kerry Hawley will be there 10-4 daily.
I have great hope and find joy and beauty in our sadness and pain becoming focused and morphed by the hand of the creator
